Complaints

Data protection complaints procedure

If you’re unhappy with how Honoria (operated by Symantix Ltd) has handled your personal data or a data request, you can complain to us directly. We take complaints seriously and will deal with yours fairly.

How to complain

Submit your complaint through our data request form (choose “Something else” and describe the complaint), or by writing to Symantix Ltd. Please include what happened, the page or request involved, and what you’d like us to do.

What happens next

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it.
  • We will investigate and aim to give you a substantive response as soon as possible, normally within one month.
  • If we need more time or more information, we will tell you and explain why.
  • We keep a record of complaints and how they were resolved.

Escalating to the regulator

If you remain dissatisfied, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling their helpline. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
