King's College London alumni in the 2021 New Year Honours
Twenty-five King's College London alumni were recognised in the 2021 New Year Honours, many for the COVID-19 response, from knighthoods for Sir Simon Baron-Cohen and Sir David Stuart to CBEs, OBEs, MBEs and British Empire Medals.

The 2021 New Year Honours recognised 25 King's College London alumni, many for their part in the COVID-19 response and across medicine, law, public health and the arts.
Knighthoods
Sir Simon Baron-Cohen, the autism researcher and King's clinical-psychology alumnus, was knighted for services to people with autism (Wikipedia). Sir David Stuart, a structural biologist, was knighted for services to medical research.
Commander (CBE)
Christopher Woolard, for services to financial regulation.
Officers (OBE)
OBEs went to Stuart Hopps for services to dance, Christopher Hodges for business and law, Louise Di Mambro for the administration of justice, Matthew Abel for defence, Myrddin Rees for liver cancer surgery, Roger Jones for general practice and Tanjit Dosanjh for optometry.
Member of the Royal Victorian Order (MVO)
Christopher Mann, for services to Cumberland Lodge.
Members (MBE)
Alan Maryon-Davis, Asha Thomson, Carlton Evans, Paul Thorogood, Richard Harling, Sarah McLean and Shravan Joshi.
British Empire Medals
